Angelic 7

Released in January 2020, Angelic 7 is the fifth EP from Georgia-born artist SoFaygo and represents a pivotal moment in his career. Executive produced by Lil Tecca, the project solidified Faygo's signature sound: a blend of 'plugg' aesthetics with high-fidelity pop sensibilities. The standout single 'Knock Knock' became a massive viral success, eventually propelling Faygo toward a signing with Travis Scott's Cactus Jack Records. Sonically, the album is characterized by its use of bright, 'angelic' synthesizers and Faygo's distinctive high-pitched vocal delivery. Despite its short runtime of just under 15 minutes across seven tracks, the EP manages to establish a complete aesthetic world.
