Beaten Into Submission

Beaten Into Submission is the 2006 debut studio album by the Finnish metal outfit Profane Omen. Recorded over a two-week period in early 2006 at Hideaway and Villvox Studios, the project was overseen by producer Ville Sorvali of Moonsorrow fame. This collaboration brought a seasoned perspective to the band's high-energy sound, resulting in a record that successfully bridged the gap between the melodic death metal traditions of Finland and the groove-oriented thrash of the American scene. The album was a commercial success for a debut in the genre, peaking at #28 on the Finnish national charts.
