Burn

Released in 2018, Burn is a four-track EP that marks a significant stylistic evolution for Victoria Hesketh, better known as Little Boots. Following her self-released third album Working Girl, this project sees her collaborating with female producers to explore a darker, more rhythmic side of her sound. The EP leans heavily into deep house and nu-disco influences, moving away from the 'pop' label toward a more underground electronic aesthetic. Tracks like 'Shadows' and 'Eros' showcase a newfound interest in club-oriented structures, utilizing repetitive, hypnotic basslines and atmospheric synth pads.
