Dispirit

Raw, fuzz-drenched alternative rock that leans into the grit of early 90s grunge. A heavy, brooding four-track exploration of restlessness and isolation.

Dispirit is the sound of a band finding its footing in the mud. It is significantly more abrasive than Superheaven's later, more melodic output, trading some of the radio-ready polish for a jagged, basement-show intensity. The guitars are thick and suffocating, layered with enough distortion to feel physical, yet there is a persistent melodic core that keeps the songs from collapsing into pure noise.

Moments Worth Listening For
The sudden transition from a feedback-laden intro into the crushing opening riff of the title track.
The way the dual vocals lock into a dissonant harmony during the bridge of the second song.
The final minute of the EP where the guitars dissolve into a wall of sustained, humming noise.
