Released in late 2024, Dragonfly represents a refined continuation of Kupla's signature 'forest lo-fi' aesthetic. The Finnish producer remains one of the few artists in the downtempo sphere to elevate woodwinds, specifically the clarinet, to a primary melodic role. This album is notably concise, with ten tracks spanning just under twenty-five minutes, emphasizing a 'less is more' philosophy. Sonically, it leans heavily on organic textures, utilizing piano felt, soft-brushed percussion, and environmental sounds to create a sense of intimacy.
