Garage Punk

Released in late 2021, Garage Punk serves as a concentrated distillation of Xavier Wulf's long-standing obsession with car culture and the drift scene. Spanning only five tracks and roughly ten minutes, the EP functions as a high-intensity burst of 'phonk-adjacent' trap that leans heavily into industrial and lo-fi aesthetics. Unlike his more atmospheric 'Hollow Squad' classics, this project prioritizes a 'garage' feel - raw, unpolished, and mechanically focused. The track titles (Hoonigen, Pressure Gauge, Top Dead Center) explicitly reference automotive engineering, and the sonic palette reflects this with metallic synths and rattling percussion.
