Good Times

Released in October 1968 on RCA Victor, Good Times represents the peak of Willie Nelson's 'Nashville Sound' period. Produced by Felton Jarvis, the album is characterized by its heavy use of orchestral arrangements, which was the industry standard before Nelson's eventual move to Austin and his pivot to Outlaw Country. Despite the title, the lyrical content is almost exclusively focused on loss, regret, and isolation.
