The album serves as a manifesto for the 'dansband revival' movement, which sought to reclaim the aesthetic of the 1970s - complete with flamboyant costumes and analog production - after the genre had spent years in a more sterile, synth-heavy wilderness. Musically, the album is notable for its 'rockabilly-dansband' hybrid, a sound that distinguishes Larz-Kristerz from more traditional acts like Vikingarna. By incorporating 1950s rock and roll energy into the standard 4/4 dansband beat, they attracted a younger, more diverse audience. The tracklist is a mix of original songs like the hit 'Carina' and highly transformative covers of international hits, ranging from Prince to Twisted Sister.
