Hotel Valentine is a vibrant, cinematic return for Cibo Matto, arriving fifteen years after their previous effort with a renewed sense of playful mystery.

The album functions as a sonic collage, or 'bricolage' as the band calls it, weaving together a loose narrative about ghosts, housekeeping, and romance within the walls of a fictional hotel.

It is an album of two distinct halves: one side is kinetic and bustling with urban energy, while the other descends into a more spectral, ethereal atmosphere that feels like drifting through a dream.
