No Substance

Released in 1998, No Substance is Bad Religion's tenth studio album and their second full-length following the departure of founding guitarist and primary songwriter Brett Gurewitz. This era of the band is characterized by a shift toward more straightforward, mid-tempo punk rock and a heavier reliance on Greg Graffin's singular lyrical voice. Recorded at Ithaca's Pyramid Sound Studios, the production is notably clean and punchy, reflecting the band's tenure on Atlantic Records.
