Released in 2017, OUÏ represents a pivotal moment in Camille's career, moving away from the more frantic energy of her earlier work toward a sound defined by 'vocal architecture.' Recorded largely at the Abbey of Noirlac, the album utilizes the natural acoustics of the 12th-century Cistercian building to create a sense of holy space. The production, handled by Camille alongside her partner Clement Ducol, is a study in restraint, often featuring nothing more than Camille's voice, a Moog synthesizer for low-end weight, and subtle percussion.
