Released in August 2015, Pure Pure is a foundational EP in the future funk subgenre, marking a pivotal moment where the internet-born aesthetic of vaporwave began to merge seriously with club-ready house production. Moe Shop, a French producer deeply influenced by Japanese pop culture, utilizes this six-track collection to bridge the gap between 'City Pop' nostalgia and contemporary EDM energy.
