Comprised of Nate Borofsky, Ty Greenstein, and Doris Muramatsu, the trio established a blueprint here for a specific brand of indie-folk characterized by gender-neutral vocal blending and intricate counterpoint. The album is largely acoustic, relying on guitars, djembe, and occasional mandolin or piano to support their vocal pyrotechnics.
