Released in late 2017, ShorelineDoThatShit served as the breakout mixtape for the Los Angeles collective Shoreline Mafia, consisting of OhGeesy, Rob Vicious, Fenix Flexin, and Master Kato. The album is a cornerstone of the 'New West' movement, synthesizing the rhythmic heritage of Bay Area hyphy with the dark, minimalist trap aesthetics of modern LA. Produced largely by Ron-Ron and JoogSZN, the sonic palette is defined by sparse arrangements, heavy 808s, and eerie, repetitive synth melodies.
