Stand Up and Scream

Stand Up and Scream is the debut studio album by Asking Alexandria, marking a pivotal moment in the evolution of 'Electronicore.' Released in 2009 via Sumerian Records, it successfully bridged the gap between the UK's burgeoning metalcore scene and the digital-heavy aesthetics of American post-hardcore. The album is characterized by its heavy use of synthesizers, often mimicking 90s Euro-dance and trance, which provide melodic counterpoints to the band's aggressive breakdowns.
