Surviving the Law

Surviving the Law is the 25th studio album by Scottish rock legends Nazareth, released in 2022. It serves as a spiritual successor to 2018's Tattooed on My Brain, further solidifying the lineup featuring vocalist Carl Sentance. Sonically, the album represents a shift toward a heavier, less polished aesthetic compared to their mid-career output. Critics, including those at The Spill Magazine and laut.de, noted the album's surprising aggression, with some identifying a 'grunge' influence in the guitar work and a 'rougher edge' in the production. The record was produced by Yann Rouiller and recorded at Substation in Scotland.
