Released in early 2021, Teen Week serves as the definitive introduction to Jane Remover (then recording as dltzk). The EP is widely credited with helping define the 'digicore' sound, a microgenre characterized by its fusion of hyperpop's maximalism with the emotional depth of Midwest emo and shoegaze. Originally an eight-track project, Jane later curated it down to four essential tracks in 2022, reflecting a shift in her artistic identity and a desire to present only the most resonant material. The EP features a notable collaboration with kmoe on 'homeswitcher,' a track that perfectly encapsulates the project's signature 'quiet-loud-quiet' dynamic.
