Released in 2017, The Spectrum serves as Daley's second studio outing, further refining the 'sonic soul' identity established on his debut. The album is characterized by its heavy reliance on Daley’s agile falsetto, which critics have noted as the record's primary strength. Sonically, it bridges the gap between traditional neo-soul and contemporary electronic R&B, featuring collaborations with Jill Scott on the lead single 'Until the Pain Is Gone.'
