Utilitarian, released in 2012, represents Napalm Death's 14th studio album and a high-water mark for their later-period creative resurgence. While many of their peers slowed down or softened, Napalm Death used this record to further integrate experimental elements - most notably the guest saxophone from John Zorn on 'Everyday Pox' - into their established grindcore framework.
