Released in April 2018, Wide Winged Bird is a rare, highly intimate EP that showcases the skeletal, acoustic foundations of Big Thief's songwriting. Comprising ten tracks, including several short instrumental fragments and untitled sketches, the release represents a significant departure from the band's more robust, electric indie rock albums.
