Zipper Down

Released seven years after Heart On, Zipper Down serves as the fourth studio installment for Eagles of Death Metal, further solidifying the creative partnership between Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme. Recorded at Homme’s Pink Duck Studios, the album maintains the band's signature 'garage-glam' sound while leaning more heavily into pop-oriented structures and polished production than their earlier, rawer efforts. A significant portion of the record consists of re-imagined tracks from Hughes’ solo outing, Honkey Kong, alongside a notable cover of Duran Duran’s 'Save a Prayer'.
