Formed in Liverpool in 1979, A Flock of Seagulls became a prominent force in the new wave and synth-pop scenes. Signed to Jive Records, the group achieved international acclaim during the early 1980s with hits like I Ran (So Far Away) and Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You). Their work earned a Grammy Award in 1983. Recently, original members Mike Score and Paul Reynolds reunited for orchestral collaborations.
