Alchemist Project

Alchemist Project, consisting of brothers Radoslaw and Roland Rasińscy, is a foundational act in the Polish electronic dance music scene of the early 21st century. Formed in 1999 in Zielona Gora, they represent the professionalization of the 'vixa' and club subcultures in Poland, moving away from amateur bedroom production toward high-end studio engineering.

Their sound identity is rooted in the Euro-trance and Hands Up movements, utilizing heavy compression, digital synthesis, and pop-oriented vocal structures. Throughout the mid-2000s, they became a dominant force in Central European clubs, bridging the gap between underground techno influences and mainstream dance-pop. Their influence is seen in the subsequent wave of Polish EDM producers who adopted their 'clean' production style. Critical consensus views them as masters of the commercial club format, praised for their arrangement skills and mastering quality, which allowed their tracks to compete with major international Western European productions on the charts.
