Formed in 2016 in Balaclava, Australia, Amyl and the Sniffers are a punk rock band featuring vocalist Amy Taylor, drummer Bryce Wilson, guitarist Declan Mehrtens, and bassist Gus Romer. Since their 2019 self-titled debut, the group has released two additional albums, Comfort to Me and Cartoon Darkness. The band, whose name references amyl nitrite, has earned three ARIA Awards, including a 2022 win for Best Group, for their high-energy sound.
