Venezuelan musician and producer Alejandra Ghersi Rodríguez, known as Arca, creates experimental music and neoperreo from her base in Barcelona. Since her 2012 debut, she has evolved from early hip-hop-influenced EPs to complex studio albums like Xen and Mutant. Her recent work, including the ambitious Kick quintet, incorporates diverse elements of avant-pop, ambient, techno, and reggaeton.
