Formed in Miami in 1995, the Latin pop group Bacilos features Jorge Villamizar and André Lopes. The band, which takes its name from a play on the word for a fun time, has produced seven albums and two EPs. Their 2002 release Caraluna earned a Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album. Known for hits like Mi Primer Millón, the ensemble maintains a strong presence across Latin American music charts.
