Beat Connection

Beat Connection emerged from the Seattle scene in 2010, quickly becoming a central figure in the 'chillwave' and 'glo-fi' movements. Originally a duo consisting of Reed Juenger and Jordan Koplowitz, the project expanded into a full band featuring vocalist Tom Eddy, whose soulful, breathy delivery redefined their sound from instrumental electronic to sophisticated indie-pop.

Their early work, specifically the 'Surf Noir' EP, is a landmark of the tropical-inflected electronic era, utilizing Balearic beats and sun-drenched synth textures. As they evolved through albums like 'The Palace Garden' and 'Product 3', they moved toward a more polished, high-fidelity sound that incorporated elements of nu-disco, house, and R&B. Critically, they are praised for their technical proficiency and ability to maintain a 'cool' emotional distance while still delivering infectious grooves.
