Bryan Christopher Williams, professionally known as Birdman, is an American rapper and record executive who co-founded Cash Money Records in 1991. His musical output spans Southern hip-hop, gangsta rap, bounce, trap, and crunk. Beyond his solo discography and work with the duo Big Tymers, he is recognized for mentoring Lil Wayne. A BET Viewer's Choice Award winner, Birdman remains the primary public figure for his label's joint ventures with Republic and Universal Motown.
