Formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 2006, Black Kids is an American indie rock group featuring Reggie Youngblood, Ali Youngblood, Dawn Watley, Owen Holmes, and Kevin Snow. The band achieved early international recognition following their 2007 EP and the 2008 release of their debut album, Partie Traumatic, via Columbia Records. After a lengthy hiatus, the ensemble returned in 2017 with their second studio record, Rookie, and continues to perform intermittently.
