Velvet-smooth crooning wrapped in lush orchestral arrangements. The sound of mid-century romance, heartbreak, and timeless sentimental pop for quiet evenings.
Born in 1935, American singer and actor Stanley Robert Vinton, known as Bobby Vinton, rose to fame as a pop music teen idol. Often called The Polish Prince, he honored his heritage through his work. His signature hit, a cover of Blue Velvet, topped the Billboard Hot 100 in 1963. Vinton hosted his own television series in the 1970s and has received an Ellis Island Medal of Honor and a Hollywood Walk of Fame star.
