Formed in Birmingham in 1995, the British electronic group Broadcast was founded by Trish Keenan and James Cargill. Throughout their career, the band released three studio albums and various EPs through labels including Warp, Drag City, and Duophonic Records. Their sound integrated 1960s psychedelic influences with early electronic textures and samples. Following numerous lineup changes, the group concluded their discography with the 2024 demo collection, Distant Call.
