Chaka Demus & Pliers

Jamaican reggae duo Chaka Demus & Pliers features deejay John Taylor and singer Everton Bonner. After forming in the early 1990s, the pair achieved significant international commercial success, surpassing the individual accomplishments of their prior solo work. Signed to labels including Island Records and Greensleeves Records, the duo gained widespread recognition for popular tracks such as Murder She Wrote and Tease Me, bridging the gap between reggae and mainstream pop audiences.
