Formed in 1979 in Hermosa Beach, California, Circle Jerks are a foundational American hardcore punk band. Co-founded by former Black Flag vocalist Keith Morris and guitarist Greg Hetson, the group established their legacy with the landmark 1980 debut album Group Sex. Throughout their intermittent career, the band has released six studio albums and experienced multiple reunions, including a notable return in 1994, while maintaining their influence through various Epitaph Records releases.
