Clovis is a Spanish indie pop project founded in 2000 by Fino Oyonarte and Cristina Plaza. Oyonarte is a central figure in Spanish alternative music, known as the bassist for Los Enemigos and a prolific producer for iconic acts like Los Planetas.
The project was conceived during a formative four-month stay in New York City, where the duo was mentored by Matthew Caws of Nada Surf.
