Craft sounds like the physical manifestation of a sneer. While many black metal bands retreat into the woods or the cosmos, Craft feels rooted in the grime of a concrete basement. Their sound is defined by a specific, jagged 'swing' that owes as much to the primitive stomp of Celtic Frost as it does to the second-wave Norwegian scene.
