DJ Delirium (Jeremy Gerson) is a pivotal figure in the global hardcore techno and gabber scenes, serving as one of the most prominent American exports to the European rave circuit. Emerging from the New York and Florida undergrounds, he successfully integrated Miami bass and New York house sensibilities into the high-BPM framework of hardcore.

His career reached a critical milestone in 1993 with 'The Mind Destroyer' on the Thunderdome 3 compilation, cementing his status within the Dutch ID&T circle. Delirium is historically significant for his cross-pollination of styles, notably becoming the first American to release on the influential UK label Reinforced Records, showcasing a versatility that spanned from gabber to drum and bass. His sound identity is built on the 'hoover' synth sound, heavily distorted percussion, and a 'tough' aesthetic that mirrored the industrial landscapes of the 1990s.
