Dynatron

Dynatron is the project of Danish producer Jeppe Hasseriis, a central figure in the 2010s synthwave revival. Emerging in 2012 with 'Escape Velocity', Hasseriis carved out a niche specifically referred to as 'spacesynth', characterized by its heavy science fiction influence and cosmic themes.

Unlike the 'outrun' subgenre which focuses on fast cars and 80s excess, Dynatron’s work is more indebted to the atmospheric scores of 'Alien' and 'Blade Runner'. His sound identity is built on a foundation of arpeggiated basslines, gated reverb drums, and high-register synth leads that mimic the emotional arc of progressive rock. Critically, he is respected for his high production values and ability to evoke specific visual narratives without the use of lyrics. Over his career, he has moved from the more dance-oriented structures of his early EPs toward the expansive, orchestral-leaning compositions found on 'Aeternus'. He remains a cornerstone artist for the Blood Music label, bridging the gap between electronic music fans and the metal community through shared aesthetics of darkness and grandeur.
