Electric Callboy

Electric Callboy, formerly Eskimo Callboy, represents the commercial and creative zenith of the 'electronicore' movement. Formed in 2010 in Castrop-Rauxel, Germany, the band spent their first decade as a successful but relatively standard post-hardcore act.

Their 2020 rebranding and the addition of vocalist Nico Sallach marked a seismic shift toward a more satirical, high-concept aesthetic. This new era is defined by a 'party metal' identity that weaponizes 90s nostalgia and Eurodance tropes against a backdrop of modern metalcore production. Their sound identity is characterized by extreme dynamic shifts, where heavy breakdowns are interrupted by bright, sawtooth synth leads. Critically, they have moved from being polarizing 'scenecore' outliers to mainstream festival headliners, largely due to their viral music videos and high-production live shows.
