Formed in Los Angeles in 2011, Electric Guest is an American indie pop duo featuring Asa Taccone and Matthew Compton. The band signed with Downtown Records and released their debut studio album, Mondo, in 2012. They subsequently expanded their discography with the 2017 release of Plural and their third full-length record, Kin, which arrived in 2019. Touring performances by the group often include additional musicians Luke Top and Reese Richardson.
