Formed in Sydney in 2007, Empire of the Sun is an Australian electronic music duo featuring Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore. The group blends synth-pop, new wave, and alternative rock, achieving international recognition with their 2008 debut, Walking on a Dream. Signed to labels including EMI and Astralwerks, the act has released four studio albums, most recently 2024's Ask That God, while earning multiple accolades for their chart-topping musical contributions.
