Exaltasamba

Formed in 1982 in São Bernardo do Campo, Brazil, Exaltasamba became a prominent force in the pagode music scene. After humble beginnings performing in local venues, the group achieved significant commercial success during the late 1990s with multiple double-platinum albums. Signed to EMI, the band evolved over three decades, notably featuring vocalist Thiaguinho. Following their 25th-anniversary celebrations in 2010, the ensemble announced their disbandment in 2011.
