Folkstone

While many of their contemporaries in the 'Mittelalter Rock' scene (like In Extremo) focus on German traditions, Folkstone specifically champions the 'Baghet' bagpipe and the cultural identity of the Lombardy region.

Over their career, they have evolved from a purely medieval-focused ensemble into a sophisticated rock act that incorporates social commentary and existential themes into their lyrics, primarily in Italian.
