Foster Sylvers

Foster Sylvers represents a pivotal figure in the 'kid soul' movement of the early 1970s, standing alongside the Jackson 5 as a primary example of youth-oriented R&B with high production standards. Born into the musical Sylvers family, his solo career was launched under the tutelage of his brother Leon Sylvers III, whose sophisticated songwriting and production style would later define the SOLAR Records sound.
