Fur Coat

Fur Coat, the project led by Sergio Muñoz, has evolved from a funk-infused house duo into a leading light of the melodic techno scene. Originally formed in Caracas, Venezuela, before relocating to Barcelona, the project gained early momentum through Damian Lazarus's Crosstown Rebels label.

Their sound identity is defined by a sophisticated blend of dark, atmospheric synths and driving, subterranean rhythms. They occupy a unique cultural space between the 'Afterlife' style of melodic techno and the more traditional groove-based house of the UK and Europe.
