His sound identity is built on the 'Giombini style' - clean, melodic synth-pop characterized by the use of the Minimoog and Roland TR-808, but softened by Low's smooth, pop-oriented vocal delivery. His 1982 debut 'You Are a Danger' became an international club staple, establishing the template for Mediterranean dance-pop. Low's most significant cultural contribution was the cross-pollination of electronic disco with Latin American folk melodies, specifically his cover of 'La Colegiala,' which transformed a Peruvian cumbia into a global synth-pop anthem.
