Glazyhaze

Formed in Venice, Italy, in 2021, Glazyhaze represents a sophisticated new wave of European shoegaze. Founded by Irene Moretuzzo and Lorenzo Dall’Armellina, the project quickly established a signature sound characterized by high-fidelity production, heavy use of modulation effects, and a 'buried' vocal mix that aligns them with the nu-gaze movement.

Their debut full-length, 'Just Fade Away' (2023), received critical praise for its ability to bridge the gap between the abrasive textures of My Bloody Valentine and the melodic accessibility of Slowdive. Culturally, they are part of a burgeoning Italian alternative scene that is increasingly looking toward international dream pop standards rather than local traditions. Their sound identity is built on the interplay between Moretuzzo's breathy, often unintelligible vocal delivery and Dall’Armellina's expansive guitar arrangements.
