Golden Animals

Golden Animals are a quintessential 'desert rock' duo, though their sound is more rooted in psychedelic folk and Delta blues than the heavy stoner-rock typically associated with the Palm Desert scene. Formed in Brooklyn in 2006 by Tommy Grenas and Linda Beecroft, the band famously rejected the urban density of New York for the isolation of the California desert.
