HaLo (often stylized as HaLo or associated with the unit Enkame) is a Japanese electronic project primarily driven by Yutaka Fukuoka and Atsunobu Yakabe. Their sound is a sophisticated intersection of late-90s downtempo, sophisticated synth-pop, and ambient textures.
Emerging during a fertile period for Japanese electronic music, they moved away from the aggressive techno of the era toward a more 'interior' sound.
