Hard Creation

Hard Creation is a pivotal Dutch hardcore (Gabber) project formed in 1996 by Jeroen Streunding (DJ Neophyte) and Nicolaas Westerdoin (DJ Panic). Emerging from the Rotterdam scene, they represent the bridge between the 'early hardcore' era and the more industrial-leaning 'mainstyle' that dominated the late 90s and early 2000s.

Their sound identity is anchored by heavily distorted kick drums, high BPMs (typically 160-190), and a sophisticated use of sampling that often incorporates hip-hop or film dialogue to establish a defiant, street-level aesthetic. Their 1999 anthem, 'I Will Have That Power', remains one of the most influential tracks in the genre's history, frequently remixed and cited as a blueprint for the aggressive, power-focused hardcore sound.
