Formed in Manchester in 1999, I Am Kloot was a British alternative rock band featuring John Bramwell, Peter Jobson, and Andy Hargreaves. Over their career, the group released six studio albums and earned a 2010 Mercury Prize nomination for Sky at Night. Following their 2016 dissolution, Bramwell transitioned into a solo career. The band remained famously enigmatic regarding the origins of their name throughout their tenure.
